Age is only a number Part 1

             Phil was enjoying his lunch break with his wife Louise. As a politician who helps control the country, Phil had great power when it came to helping others. His wife Louise was completely in love with him, his alluring smile brought joy to her heart. At forty-nine years old with a month before he's fifty, Paul had already began to look the part. His hair had became completely white, his beard rested on his face as white as snow. His backache, and his body grew tired quicker then it did before.

            Despite looking old, he was always young in his heart. He had successfully brought up his life, as a child his parents had nothing. He worked hard and now he could buy anything he wanted. Even if he looked old, he knew that in his heart he could always feel like a young person again.

             Rich was a different case, as a homeless young adult who felt like he was a complete failure. Rich began begging for money, he was good looking, tall with big feet which made him very clumsy. His green eyes sparkled with the sun light. Because of all the stress he's gotten, his dark brown hair had shortened a bit. So he looked a bit older then he really was. However Rich was still in great shape, he could get any girl if he wanted. Except he couldn't because he was jobless and living on the street.

            During his usual rounds around the city asking either for a job or money. He spotted Phil and his wife walking the streets, he smiled feeling that if he worked hard enough he would be like them one day. He became interested in Phil, he didn't know what he did but whenever he listened into there conversations, he would always mention 'The government' Rich guessed that Phil was probably working for the government.

           Rich continued to watch Phil without him knowing, he longed to be like him one day. Not caring If he was going to eat that night, or if he was going to have shelter that night. Rich noticed that Phil and his wife Louise always loved to go to the small cafe in the city. He eventually got a job there just so he could watch them without them getting suspicious.

            One work day, Rich started to clean the tables when Phil arrived alone. Without, Everyone else were on there break so Rich was the only one working at the moment.
"What can I get you Sir?"Rich smiled.
He knew what Phil was going to order, a Coffee with a small salad. "A coffee and salad please," Phil said.
As Rich prepared his order he tried to provide some small talk with him, "So What do you do sir? You seem to come here fairly?"
Phil looked at Rich, "I'm a politician. At the moment were debating about whether or not we should kick out the people who don't work hard enough. Hurry kid, I don't have all day!" Phil complained.
Phil was never the rude type, it took Rich by surprise that he did that."Sorry," Rich said quietly.

"Seriously what's with this generation. I'd expect them to be hard workers, but your just a disgrace. I've seen you in here too, you always used to sit behind me. Your just very creepy kid, what do you want money?" Phil complained.
Now Rich was getting angry, as he stared at Phil he noticed a woman with lots of jewellary looking at them in the back. Rich tossed Phils Salad together and immediately gave to him without another word. He felt like an idiot thinking he wanted to be like him.
